Euro-limpacs Deliverables

Report on collated long-term hydrological, meteorological and limnological data from key sites

In this report we provide a descriptive overview of the long−term data at key Euro−limpacs sites, collated by all partners involved in Task 2.1 of Work package 1. Task 2.1 deals with the potential impact of changing air temperature and precipitation on catchment mass fluxes. Existing meteorological, hydrological and limnological data are employed together with data on atmospheric deposition. Data from climate scenario models are used to evaluate how the components of the water cycle and catchment mass fluxes respond to past and predicted future changes in regional climate. This report focuses on long−term trends, seasonal shifts and on the frequency and magnitude of extreme events, like floods or droughts.
